The job of your external genitalia is to protect your internal organs from infection and allow sperm to enter your vagina.

Your vulva is the collective name for all of your external genitalia. Many people incorrectly use the term “vagina” to describe all parts of the female genitalia. However, your vagina is its own structure inside your body.

The female reproductive system performs several functions. Apart from allowing a person to have sex, it also aids in human reproduction.

Your ovaries produce eggs. These eggs are transferred to the fallopian tube during ovulation, where fertilization with sperm can occur. The fertilized egg then travels to your uterus, where the lining of the uterus thickens in response to the normal hormones of your period (also known as your reproductive cycle). Once inside your uterus, the fertilized egg can lodge in the thickened uterine lining and continue to develop. If implantation fails, the uterine lining is shed as a menstrual period. In addition, the female reproductive system produces sex hormones that maintain the menstrual cycle.

During menopause, the female reproductive system gradually stops producing female hormones, which are necessary for the functioning of the menstrual cycle. Menstrual cycles at this time become irregular and may eventually stop. If you haven’t had a period for an entire year, you’re considered menopausal.

Females or AFAB of reproductive age (anywhere from 11 to 16 years of age) experience cycles of hormonal activity that repeat at approximately one-month intervals. With each cycle, your body prepares for a potential pregnancy, whether it’s your intention or not. The term menstruation refers to the periodic shedding of the uterine lining when pregnancy does not occur in this cycle. Many people call the days when they feel vaginal bleeding “menstrual”.

There are four main hormones (chemicals that stimulate or regulate the activity of cells or organs) involved in the menstrual cycle. These hormones include:

This stage starts from the first day of menstruation. During the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle, the following events occur:

The ovulatory phase (ovulation) usually begins about 14 days after the follicular phase begins (the exact time varies). The ovulation phase is the second phase of the menstrual cycle. Most people get their period 10-16 days after ovulation. The following events occur at this stage:

You were born with all the eggs you were born with. As a developing fetus, you have about 6 million eggs. About 1 million eggs are left at birth. Only about 300,000 are left before you reach adulthood. As you age and with each period, your egg count continues to decline. Fertility also decreases with age due to the decrease in the number and quality of the remaining eggs.

In humans, the female and male reproductive systems work together to reproduce. There are two types of sex cells – sperm and egg. When a sperm meets an egg, it can fertilize it and form a zygote. This zygote eventually becomes a fetus. Both sperm and eggs are needed for human reproduction.

Female genital organs are involved in sexual activity, childbirth, menstruation and reproduction. Everyone’s reproductive organs look a little different. Some people are born with missing or misshapen reproductive organs. It can affect the functions of your reproductive system and cause irregular bleeding, difficulty conceiving, or painful sex. Talk to your doctor if you have concerns about your genitals or if you have symptoms that are worrying you. Size of PNG preview of this SVG file: 376 × 600 pixels. In the following raster (.png format) images, the most commonly used bodies are already included, and text and lines can be added in almost any graphic editor. This is the easiest method, but leaves no room for customizing which bodies are displayed.

Body diagrams with this method can be obtained by pasting organs onto one of the “normal” body images shown below. This method requires a graphic editor capable of using transparent images so that white squares do not appear around the organs when pasting on the body image. Pictures of organs are on the home page of the project. They were originally tailored to a masculine silhouette/silhouette.

The following vector templates can be used to draw images using Inkscape, for example. This is the method with the greatest potential.
