How To Get Rid Of Love Handles: Diet & Exercise Tips

If your love handles make you insecure, these exercises will help! These are the same exercises I recommend to my personal training clients and do myself because they work!

But if you want to really make your booty pop and waistline shrink you have to – I repeat – practice the love handles.

In it, I’ve included 6 different love arm exercises you can rotate into your routine — or mix them all up for a complete lose-lose.

Getting rid of fat from the love care area can be difficult. The muscles in the lower back are connected to the spine and pelvis in different directions. Some muscles move up and down. Some are down.

Best Exercises To Melt Love Handles

I’ve found that the best exercises for love target and tighten the lower back muscles from all different angles and directions. Hint: This is what they practice and why they are the best!

When these exercises are combined in one workout, they tighten all the muscles like a waist trainer, reducing the appearance of love arms and waist. Wow!

That’s how we’re going to target, tone and suck all those muscles that wrap around the love handle area like a corset. I’m going to demo the following exercises for you.

Start with your feet shoulder-width apart, and your knees slightly bent. With the weight in your hand, start with your arm across your body, holding the weight in front of your hip with both hands. Bring your arms up and down your body. It works the muscles on your sides where your love handles are. Make sure you are using your core to move the weight, not just your arms.

Keep your feet shoulder width apart. Hold the weight as shown. Turn to the side where the weight is and try to lift the weight to the floor, and then come back up. If you place your hand on the side where you don’t have the weight, you should feel the muscles engage.

Lie on your side using your elbows for support. Make sure your shoulders and elbows are in a straight line. Spread your palms to allow better support. Place your feet on top of each other and lift up. Hold the position as long as you can.

To do the Superman exercise, stretch your arms and legs on your stomach. You are then going to lift your upper and lower body so that your torso and your feet come off the ground. Repeat until you feel the burn. Once you feel the burn, do 5 more.

Behind your head with your hands on your back. Bring your legs to a 90 degree angle. Bring your right knee toward your chest and lift it to meet your left knee and lower back. Repeat with the other side.

How To Get Rid Of Love Handles

Sit on your bottom with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Lift your feet up and lean back a little. While lifting the weight, twist to one side and lower the weight to the floor. Return to the starting position and immediately repeat the movement on the other side.
