How Much Would It Cost To End Climate Change? Get The Facts
Epidemics and new infectious diseases are among the many predicted “normal” consequences of growing climate change stress. Like Ebola, MERS and SARS, COVID19 was caused and/or exacerbated by global warming.
1. Global warming is rapidly destroying wildlife habitats. This forces wildlife (such as bats) into closer contact with humans, making it easier for zoonotic viruses (zooviruses) to be transmitted to humans. This happened with the COVID 19 virus.

Increased winter temperatures lead to periodic rain and dangerous freezing rain and blizzards in the winter. This winter’s ice and sleet storms will bring down power lines and disrupt traffic, production and life.
